Identify your current Shopify site

Approve the Boonella App

  • You will be directed to your Shopify account, where you can approve the connection to Boonella.

  • After approving our Boonella App, you will be able to automatically synchronize your Shopify products with Boonella.

Watch your products get listed

  • Once you instruct Shopify to synchronize your products, they will show up here.

  • Products sold or updated here will be updated on your Shopify account. Products sold or updated on Shopify, will be updated here!

It costs very little to sell on Boonella. We charge between 5-8% in fees based off of the final sale price of your item.

These fees include the payment processing fees incurred by Stripe. Typically, sellers pay around 3% toward credit card processing. This fee is included in our 5-8% range.

Payouts for sold items happens automatically. Funds are cleared, processed and sent directly to your bank account within 5 business days.

Payments are made through Stripe. If you have an existing Stripe account, we will help you connect it during setup. If you are new to Stripe, setting up an account is very easy, and we'll help you do that.

Yes, once you connect your Shopify site to Boonella, all product changes, updates, stock increases/decreases, pictures, prices, etc. will stay synchronized between both services automatically.

You can always disconnect the service at any time.

You ship your own items, just as you do today.

With each sale, you will receive an email about the order, which will include all of the shipping information you'll need.

Shipping charges are added at checkout, and you can control how much to charge.

Creating an account is the first step in getting started. You will need just the basics to get started like: name, address, contact info, etc.

You can continue to build out your profile, which is part of your account. Your profile is your "public" face to your store.

Boonella will issue a 1099-K to you, if you have more than $600 in sales on Boonella in a given year.

The IRS regulations (as of January 1, 2022) require all businesses that process payments, including online marketplaces like Boonella, to issue a Form 1099-K for all sellers who receive $600 or more in sales.

The 1099-K issued in a given year may impact your taxes the following year. However, just because you receive a 1099-K doesn’t automatically mean that you’ll owe taxes on the amount reported on your 1099-K.

Yes, buyers can shop across different sellers and pay for everything at once during a single checkout session (known as a "combined order"). Your portion of the sales and shipping charges will be passed along to you directly.

For combined orders, you will only receive funds and sale information relating to your products.

Yes, you will be able to view all customer information, sales, orders, product inventory and payout information in your store dashboard.

Yes, during your account setup, you will be prompted to setup shipping preferences. You can select flat rates, weight option, free shipping and free local pickup.
